  5. My wife & I were in the process of planning a vacation here. But , sorry, your pictures did not impress us at all. We thnk we are going to the Virgin Islands instead. It looks so much green and tropical. We thought the Grand Cayman Islands were going to be lush with lots of beautiful greenery and blue skies. What we saw in your pic’s were gray skies and a bunch of people getting drunk and wanting to just go to beach bars and party. Sorry, been there done that! Good Bye Grand Cayman ! Cancun. Mexico is oh so much more beautiful! Try it you’ll Love It.

  6. Hi James, I have a lot of questions regarding registering my existing Canadian business in the Cayman Islands. What is your citizenship?

  8. Hi,

I am a grad student that will be spending two weeks visiting the island and taking classes. I really do not want to stay at the group hotel and would really like to actually experience what the cayman islands has to offer. I was wondering if you knew of any resources to find short term accommodations. Any assistance you could provide would be most helpful. Thank you

  9. Well well Chewie I hadn’t realised that writing was one of your hidden talents . Great blog and I am sure that in 2009 I will follow through on my threat to come and visit the Caymans – all the best for what remains of 2008 and here’s looking to a prosperous 2009 . Regards ZENZ

I doubt we will make this year to the Caymans as we dont really want to risk running into some bad weather but it’s now on my top 10 list of places to visit before I die. How much longer are you going tobe out there?

    • Sorry for the late reply, I have been quite busy in the past 2 months and had not checked my blog for a while. Anyway I believe that you need some professional assistance in what you are trying to achieve. I can recommend a company that we have used here in the Cayman Islands for quite a while in terms of company set up, business advice and just general research for our activities here in Cayman Islands and indeed the Caribbean region…

  13. From one island dweller to another – have enjoyed your blog and funny enough I have a first cousin who lives in Cayman (also a CA). Haven’t managed a visit but you can always dream. All best MF
